"Where Everybody Belongs" (WEB) is a peer-mentoring program designed to help middle school students successfully transition from elementary school. It works by training older students, typically 8th graders, to be "WEB Leaders" who serve as positive role models and guides. These leaders welcome incoming 6th or 7th graders and help them feel comfortable and connected to their new school environment. Throughout the year, the program provides a variety of academic and social support activities to foster a sense of community and belonging. The primary purpose of WEB is to increase student achievement, reduce bullying, and create a more positive and safer school climate for everyone.

A middle school steel drum team is a musical ensemble where students learn to play steel pans, which are percussion instruments originally from Trinidad and Tobago. This group provides a unique and exciting alternative to traditional band or orchestra. The team works together to create rhythmic and melodic music, teaching students important skills like rhythm, harmony, and teamwork. By performing at school and community events, the team gives students a chance to showcase their hard work and build confidence. Ultimately, the purpose of a steel drum team is to provide a fun and engaging way for students to learn about music and different cultures while fostering a strong sense of unity and shared accomplishment.

Elementary School Battle of the Books
Elementary Battle of the Books, grades 4 and 5, is a reading competition for younger students. Kids read a set list of books and work together in teams. They then answer questions about the books' plots and characters in a friendly quiz-bowl format. The focus is on encouraging reading for fun and building a foundation for teamwork.
Middle School Battle of the Books
Middle School Battle of the Books is also a reading competition, but it's more competitive and the books are more complex. The format is the same—teams read from a longer list of books and answer detailed questions. At this level, the competition moves past the school level to district, regional, and even state tournaments. The purpose is to not only promote reading but also to develop critical thinking, in-depth comprehension, and strategic teamwork. The questions are often more challenging, requiring a deeper understanding of the material.

Battle of the Books de la Escuela Primaria
Battle of the Books de la Escuela Secundaria
